The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Goa, Dr Pramod Sawant held a press conference to
announce the 3 events, National Women’s Parliament, National Youth Parliament and National Sarpanch parliament that will take place from the 8th to the 12th of November 2021 in the Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Indoor Stadium, Dona Paula, Panaji.
While Goa is celebrating 60 years of liberation from 450 years of Portuguese rule, India
is celebrating its ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ of being independent for 75 years. And what better way to celebrate democracy than by announcing the dates these 3 events will take place on. In fact, the government of Goa under the auspices of its present Chief minister believe inequality, good rural management and the participation of the youth in our democratic processes.
These three events perfectly serve to showcase the need of the hour for the state of Goa
as well as the nation of India. In this way, they also serve to be the perfect way for us all to
celebrate the 60 years of the liberation of Goa and the 75 years of the Independence of India.
The National Women’s parliament is slated to take place from the 8th to the 9th of
